Anti-Notch 2 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NOTCH2, or 'notch receptor 2' in humans. The 2471-amino acid protein is a member of the NOTCH family and the Notch 2 antigen is a documented neural stem cell marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic, nuclear and membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
